COMPETITION T&CS

These terms and conditions apply to all competitions featured in any publications, online services and events that are organised by Radisson Blu Durham.

By entering a competition entrants accept these terms and conditions, together with any specific instructions and terms for such competition.

Radisson Blu Durham may cancel or amend any competition, competition information, or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the competition information or these terms and conditions.

Competition Entry

  1. Entrants must be 18 or over to enter.
  2. The closing dates for entries are as indicated in the competition information. Any entries received after the closing of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.
  3. Unless otherwise stated in the competition information, competitions are only open to UK residents.
  4. Radisson Blu Durham will at no point contact any entrant to ask for payment to secure a prize.

Prizes

  1. The prize is as specified in the competition information.
  2. Where the specified prize is a hotel stay, meal or similar, Radisson Blu Durham will not pay for travel to or from the venue, unless otherwise stated in the competition information. Winners must make their own arrangements for travel.
  3. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable.
  4. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  5. The process for determining the winner of the prize is as indicated in the competition information.
  6. Radisson Blu Durham will attempt to notify the winner within 14 days after the closing date, or as otherwise indicated in the competition information. The winner will be contacted on the email address provided when entering the competition. The winner will have a specified fixed time period in which to claim his or her prize. If we are unable to notify the winner, or if the winner fails to respond within the fixed time period as specified and/or provide an address for delivery of the prize, this may result in forfeiture of the prize and we reserve the right to select an alternative winner in accordance with these terms and conditions and the competition information.
  7. Radisson Blu Durham shall try to deliver the prize to the winner by the stated event date , unless otherwise specified to the winner. No cash equivalent or alternative prize will be given and the prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, we reserve the right to change the prize due to circumstances beyond our control or to offer an alternative of similar value.

Data Protection and Publicity

  1. By submitting their personal details, the entrant agrees to Radisson Blu Durham processing those details in accordance with the purposes made known the entrant at the time of collection and in accordance with our privacy policy. Any entrant who is entering the competition via e-mail may opt out of receiving any marketing communications.
  2. Radisson Blu Durham shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation, any successor legislation or other applicable law.
