Our Guests Raised £1,104.58 for the Bradley Lowery Foundation

We’re delighted to share that our Pound on Your Pillow campaign has raised £1,104.58 for the Bradley Lowery Foundation and we’ve been honoured to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Foundation in recognition of the support.

Over the past few months, guests staying with us at Radisson Blu Durham were invited to leave a pound on their pillow at the end of their stay. Every coin and note collected went directly to the Foundation, and together those small gestures have added up to something truly meaningful.

The Bradley Lowery Foundation was set up in memory of Bradley Lowery, the young Sunderland fan whose courage and smile captured hearts across the North East and far beyond. The Foundation continues his legacy by funding vital research, supporting families and helping make a difference to the lives of children and young people.

General Manager Stuart Lloyd said: “Bradley’s story means so much to people across the North East, and we’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in continuing his legacy.

“This total is down to the generosity of our guests, and of our team, who championed the campaign every day. To everyone who left a pound on their pillow, thank you. Every single contribution has made a difference.”
