7 Paintings at Radisson Blu Durham: Dinner Becomes a Work of Art

Join us for an unforgettable dining experience as the phenomenon of 7 Paintings comes to Radisson Blu Durham.

This winter, Radisson Blu Durham is opening a gallery unlike any other.

There are no velvet ropes and nobody shushing you. There’s just a dining table, seven extraordinary courses and some of the most famous art in the world coming to life in front of you.

7 Paintings, the immersive dining show described as The Art of Dining, opens at Radisson Blu Durham on Saturday, 28 November, 2026, with multiple dates throughout December, January and February (full details on our What’s On page). It is a brand new experience for Durham and we can’t wait to share it with you.

What is 7 Paintings?

7 Paintings is a seven-course dinner show where every course is inspired by a different legendary artist. Using 3D projection, each artist’s work comes to life on your plate and across the room while you dine.

It isn’t a dinner you simply sit and watch, either. Throughout the evening you’re part of the show: you’ll solve da Vinci’s riddles, guess the artist and even create your own action painting with edible colours.

The whole experience lasts around 2.5 to 3 hours. It’s an evening in seven acts and you’ll be talking about it for weeks.

Your evening in seven acts

Each course takes you to a different country and a different artist, and our kitchen team has created a menu to match every masterpiece.
